Do you wonder how to make spiritual success real in your life? How do you overcome besetting sins? How to be more loving, patient, etc.?

What has been done for us has already been done. There is no more for Jesus to do for us. It has already been done. He did it all through His life, death and resurrection. It is done. Even He said it as He was dying. Remember? He said, “It is finished.”

How does that work for me today? How does it apply to life today?

All that He has in His life is available to us. His love. His patience. His power over sin. It is what He has. Not what we strive to do for Him.

This life is accessed by faith

We accept by faith the life of Christ in us. We allow Him to live through us. We defer to Him. He increases as we decrease. We have died with our faults, strengths, and our rights. He lives in our spirit. Now it is up to us to allow Him to live His life through us.

He wants to let people know what He is like and He chooses to do that through us. But, we have to let Him. We don’t become believers just to continue living our own life. 2 Cor. 5:15

It is all by faith. The Bible tells us it is true. Now it is our choice to believe it or not. To act like it is true or to rely on our feelings.

Trust me, it doesn’t feel true at the beginning. But we walk by faith, right? Faith. Stepping out of the boat of feelings on to the water. It will become solid once you leave the boat. Faith.

The only way to know these truths is through faith first. Believe first, then you know. Not the reverse. We don’t know then believe. It is believe first, then you know.

It is so exciting to discover that knowing only comes after believing. And it does come. His promises are true!

Prayer – Lord God, the one who sanctifies us, help us to see the truth that we died with Christ and are free from ourselves. Amen
