Praying With Jesus

Praying With Jesus

If we are one with Jesus, we can pray with Him.

John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. ESV

Jesus tells us that “I am in My Father, and you on Me, and I in you” in John 14:20.

As Jesus is in me and I in Him, one unit, we pray to the Father.  Remember, Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us.

When I pray I want to be aware of approaching the throne of the Holy Almighty One. I want to pause and wait until I sense the presence of God the Son. Then as a unit we approach the throne, God the Father, as one.

Jesus reaches into our heart and makes us aware of His heart, His words, through the work of the Holy Spirit.

My words I receive from Him so that I am praying correctly. He takes my words and makes them His. All this by the power of the Holy Spirit. Incredible!

Even our worship is inspired by the Holy Spirit. We are to worship Him by the Spirit, in spirit and truth.

Oh, if only I could express this clearly. It has transformed my prayers. I have little to say. I am careful with my words, wanting to make sure those words are His words. Why? Because the Father always hears the Son. John 11:42

Prayer- Holy Spirit, open our spiritual eyes to see this privileged position we have in Jesus. I pray it will empower our prayers.  Amen
