Have you ever thought about visiting with God? How about going for a walk with God? Or maybe designating a place in your home that you can have a private visit with Him?

If not, I encourage you to go for a walk with God. Share your thoughts. Give Him a chance to share His thoughts. Do you know that He is waiting to visit with you?

Spend time enjoying the soft breeze with Him or the beautiful sunshine. Listen to the birds He created. As you walk, share your concerns at work and home. He is the best friend ever. He will never leave you even if you get mad at Him.

He wants to share His thoughts with you. Did you know that? He isn’t simply a deity that we pray to for what we need; He has a personality. He wants to share your life. Do we give Him the time or the opportunity? The Bible speaks of fellowship which, simply put, is friendship. Visiting with each other.

Obviously, it is with respect and reverence. Yet, He wants us to come and visit with Him. To get to know Him. 

Make this a daily practice if you can. I guarantee your life will be enriched because of it.

Heavenly Father, help us to take time to get to know You and to visit with You to learn from You. Amen
