Do you know that you are surrounded by God’s love? Imagine a faint mist swirling around you. Can you feel it brushing your skin? That is a very poor picture of being surrounded, but I can’t think of anything else.

Are you aware of God’s presence? Jesus told us to abide, to live in His love. I think we need to imagine it. Can you abide in something if it is only in your head in word pictures? No. His instructions are not just words. It is more than words. More than rhetoric. It is real.

When we begin to believe God loves each of us specifically, our faith will grow. We will begin to see Him answering our prayers, because He loves us.

Gracious Father, the one thing that You really want us to experience, is the one thing we have the most difficulty believing. I pray that we will be able to step out in faith and believe You love each of us.
